I am a dedicated violinist with 14 years of study, using music to connect with people I would never have met otherwise.
Michelle-Dallow Elliott is a violinist based in Minneapolis, Minnesota & the Boston Area, Massachusetts. A first-year college student in the Boston area, she has dedicated over a decade to the violin and has performed at prestigious events across the Twin Cities and beyond.
Michelle-Dallow is a member of KAMOINGE — a string ensemble composed of 10 string players, primarily Black and Latino students. KAMOINGE performs works written by Black artists around the Twin Cities to raise awareness about issues affecting people of color, from environmental justice to police brutality.
Beginnings
Michelle-Dallow's love for the violin began at just five years old. From those earliest days, the instrument became more than a hobby — it became a voice. What started as a young child's curiosity quickly grew into a deep passion that has shaped every part of her musical journey.
Over the past 14 years, that early spark has evolved into a lifelong commitment to performance, community, and storytelling through music.
